Beroia Shortening is a high-quality palm-based fat produced from refined, bleached, and deodorized palm oil. Shortening is made semi-solid to replace butter as a multi-purpose cooking fat.
Beroia Shortening is free from trans fatty acids. It is homogenized to mimic the texture and characteristics for butter. The shortening has undergone cooling, crystalizing and texturing processes for solidification.
Applications: Doughs, Bread, Bakery Products, Biscuits, Yeast-raised Products, Deep Frying, Creaming.
