INDIAN MILK BARFI

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 CUP MILK POWDER
  • 1/4 CUP SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK
  • 1/8 CUP GHEE
  • 1/2 TEASPOON CARDAMOM POWDER
  • NUTS FOR GARNISH

PREPARATION :

Combine 1/2 cup milk powder, 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk,and 1/8 cup ghee in a pan over medium heat. Stir continuously to avoid lumps. Continue cooking until the mixture thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
Add 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder for flavor and mix well. Once the mixture forms a dough-like consistency and begins to leave the pan, transfer it to a greased plate. Flatten and shape the mixture evenly. Garnish with nuts of your choice, pressing them gently into the surface. Allow it to cool for a few hours, then cut it into desired shapes. Your delicious Indian Milk Barfi is now ready to be enjoyed as a sweet treat!
