EGYPTIAN BASBOUSA WITH CONDENSED MILK

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 CUP SEMOLINA
  • 1/4 CUP BEROIA SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK
  • 1 TABLESPOON BEROIA COCONUT POWDER
  • 1/4 CUP YOGURT
  • 1/2 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER

PREPARATION :

To make egyptian basbousa with condensed milk, combine 1/2 cup semolina, 1/4 cup beroia sweetened condensed milk, 1 tablespoon  beroia coconut powder, 1/4 cup yogurt, and 1/2 teaspoon baking powder in a bowl, mixing until smooth. Grease a baking dish, pour the batter into it, and smooth the top. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°f (180°c) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Once baked, let it cool, then cut into squares or diamond shapes. Optionally, drizzle additional sweetened condensed milk on top before serving.
